App introduction
Watch videos, follow creators, build playlists, and discover new viewing ideas with the YouTube app for Android.
Find something worth watching
YouTube brings videos from creators, publishers, and communities to your Android device. Browse a topic you already enjoy, search for a tutorial, or follow a channel so its latest uploads are easier to find. The catalogue covers entertainment, music, learning, and many other interests.
Shape your own viewing list
Subscriptions help you keep up with favorite channels. Playlists give you a way to save videos for a theme or return to something you want to watch again. Recommendations can surface related videos, though the results depend on your account activity and settings.
Watch in the way that suits you
The app works for a quick clip as well as a longer viewing session. Check playback controls and account settings to manage how videos appear and what YouTube suggests next.
Before you download
Most viewing needs an internet connection. Some playback or offline options may require a subscription and can vary by region, device, or account.
