App introduction
Follow friends, groups, and pages, share your own updates, and explore communities in the Facebook Android app.
Stay close to your communities
Facebook brings updates from people, groups, and pages into one Android app. Check what friends have posted, follow an interest you care about, or take part in a community conversation. The experience changes with the accounts you follow and the settings you choose.
Share more than a status
Post a thought, add a photo, react to an update, or explore material from pages and groups. These options make Facebook useful for both keeping in touch with people you know and discovering new discussions around a topic.
Make the feed work for you
Consider which pages and groups you want to follow, and review notifications so the app highlights what matters. If you share frequently, check who can see your posts and profile information before publishing.
Before you download
Features and recommendations can vary by account, region, and app version. The full Facebook app may use more storage or data than Facebook Lite, so choose the version that best fits your device.
