Two sides of the same nightmare

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer horror game built around a simple imbalance: four Survivors try to escape while one Killer pursues them. The tension comes from limited information, changing opportunities, and knowing that a small mistake can matter to everyone.

Survive together or hunt alone

Survivors need awareness and teamwork to make progress and help one another under pressure. The Killer plays a different game, trying to read movement and interrupt escape plans. Trying both sides is a useful way to understand why an encounter went the way it did.

Characters shape the strategy

Different characters and abilities encourage different approaches. A tactic that works well in one match may fail against another group or in another environment, which keeps the pursuit from becoming a fixed routine.
