The 2026 Triple-i Initiative presented a 45-minute sequence of indie trailers. Epic's October 9 recap is most useful when sorted by what a player can do now versus what is still a plan. A trailer appearance does not mean the whole game has launched, and a demo is not the same as an early-access release.
Content Epic said was available on showcase day
Astral Ascent received a free Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 crossover update featuring familiar characters and bosses, six summons, three bosses, music and three rooms. A free Hela: Of Mice & Magic demo arrived to introduce its tiny-mouse adventure mechanics; the full game was listed for December 1, 2026. Risk of Rain 2: Hallowed Concepts, described as its fourth DLC expansion, also launched with new Petrichor V regions, enemies, bosses, challenges and powers. Check each store page for ownership requirements: a free update, a demo and a paid DLC can have very different access rules.
Dates for upcoming releases
Epic gave February 8, 2027 for Outward 2's early-access arrival, not a finished 1.0 launch. Brotato: Primal Dread was dated November 2, 2026, with a jungle map, 20 waves and new enemies and items. Dave the Diver's Subnautica crossover DLC was placed in early 2027 without a precise day. Windrose: Ashlands was described as a winter update with a new biome and boss, also without a fixed date. Wishlisting can help you follow these releases, but an estimated window is not a guarantee.
New reveals need separate follow-up
Aftergods was shown as a solo-or-co-op survival-lite action RPG about rebuilding a pantheon after Ragnarok. Canyons was described as a one-to-four-player co-op PvE shooter with procedurally generated territory, Blood Pacts and mobile Crawlers. Epic's recap contains an apparent contradiction for Canyons: its heading says “next month,” while the body states November 2027. We cannot establish the correct year from that single page, so check the live store listing rather than repeating the heading as a confirmed launch date.
This selection focuses on access and timing rather than replaying every trailer. Store availability and dates can change after a showcase, making the linked Epic recap a historical record and the current product pages the source for purchasing decisions.
