AION 2: What the Server Transfer Limits Mean
AION 2's transfer window has limits in both directions. Here is how the hourly capacity updates affect your choice of server.

In this guide
A server-transfer window is not a reservation. AION 2's notice explains why a destination can stop accepting applications even while the wider transfer period remains open.
Two limits to watch
The announcement places a cap on transfers into each server and another on transfers out. Reaching either cap can close applications for that server ahead of the advertised end of a transfer round. Players therefore need to check both the server they are leaving and the one they hope to join.
How often capacity changes
Available transfer counts are due to refresh on the hour. If a desired route is unavailable, a later refresh or a subsequent transfer round may provide another opportunity; neither is a promise of a place on a particular server.
Plan before applying
Confirm where friends and guildmates intend to play, then review the current capacity before committing to a move. High demand can lead to a server's transfers being closed permanently, according to the developer's notice.
Read the live rules
The official announcement links to the transfer product information and Q&A. Use those pages for eligibility, costs, timing, and any rule changes; this article is a guide to the capacity warning, not a replacement for the live terms.
